Kate Spade New York Introduces Spring/Summer 2016 Eyewear Collection
Kate Spade New York is always optimistic, often unexpected and wonderfully original. Inspired this season by themes including Rose Colored Glasses, Daydreams and Day Trips and Down the Rabbit Hole (the brand’s take on the children’s book Alice in Wonderland), the Kate Spade eyewear collection continues to be reinforced by classic shapes like cat eye glasses in seasonal colors and modern graphic elements with a touch of whimsy.
ROSE COLORED GLASSES:
Because Kate Spade girls covet items that are bright and bold, the Lorelle/S (above), rectangular/square shape designer sunglasses are a must have style for Spring/Summer 2016. The Kate Spade eyeglasses were inspired by a jubilant “rose colored glasses” theme which makes the world seem positively vibrant for the wearer. The sunglasses for women feature the signature metal spade logo on the left wearing temple with the idiom “HELLO SUNSHINE” inscribed on the inside right temple. The Deandra/S optical frames are available in pink (featured above), mint green, black white and havana beige. The Lorelle/S Kate Spade eyewear is offered in pink (featured above), mint green, black white and havana yellow.
The Genice/S Kate Spade sunglasses (above left) and the Jonnie optical frames (above right) were created for the girl who likes to live colorfully. The flirty metal Genice/S cat-eye sunglasses feature the signature metal spade logo on the left wearing temple with the phrase “HELLO SUNSHINE” inscribed on the inside right temple. The designer sunglasses are available in green gold (above), pink gold, black gold and brown gold.
The Jonnie (above right) is rectangular/square shape Kate Spade eyewear in acetate featuring a flex hinge in mint green (above), pink, black white and havana beige. The signature metal spade logo on the left wearing temple with the idiom “boys make passes at girls in glasses” is inscribed on the inside right temple of the Kate Spade eyeglasses.
DAYDREAMER, DAY TRIPPER:
Inspired by daydreams and day trips to old-fashioned amusement parks along the seaside, the Melly/S designer sunglasses, with their novel upswept corners, are offered in an exclusive Kate Spade eyewear pattern known as the Fairmont stripe. As shown (above) here in the multi-color stripe, this head-turning sunglass pattern conjures up playful childhood memories of cotton candy, bubble gum and salt water taffy. The sunglasses for women are also available in black/white stripe (Fairmont black and white stripe on the outside frame and temples), beige (beige and white Fairmont stripe on the exterior and interior of the frame and temples), black (Fairmont black and white stripe on the inside temples) and havana (Fairmont multi-color stripe on the inside temples).
DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE:
The Kate Spade New York girl is known for wearing a little bit of sparkle wherever she goes, so the Karyna/S cat eye sunglasses (left) left and Amelina optical frames (right) add just the right touch of jewel embellishment for any occasion. Inspired by Alice in Wonderland’s trip down the rabbit hole into a magical world filled with talking daisies, both the Karyna/S designer sunglasses and the Amelina eyeglasses are cat eye shaped and feature a daisy flower cluster with crystal details. On the Karyna cat eye glasses, the daisies appear along the corners of both frame fronts. On the Amelina cat eye glasses, the daisies appear near the end piece of each temple. The Karyna optical frames are available in opal white (above left) and opal pink. The Amelina Kate Spade eyewear is available in black (above right), opal and havana.
